Salford Citizens Advice

Salford’s Winter of Fun – Organised play and activity schemes for children over the Christmas Holidays:

We are delighted to be supporting Salford’s programme of winter activities for local school children. We will be on hand to give advice about benefits, money advice, help with school uniforms, and help with the heathy start scheme.

Come and join the fantastic free winter fun sessions during the Christmas school holidays! There is craft, dance, drama, baking, football, rugby, gym and swim passes, skateboarding, Panto and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at The Lowry.

All sessions are free, they include lunch and are delivered by brilliant local Salford organisations and community groups. There are lots of sessions available in all areas of the city.

Who can apply?

The sessions are for children eligible for free school meals in school years from Reception to Year 11.

How to book:

To book all you need to do is go to the council’s website, click on the organisation, and book your child in online, the booking system will show you how many sessions of an activity you can book. After booking you will receive a copy to your email, and confirmation via email a couple of days later for the sessions your child is booked onto.
